Ryan's Tiny Home Surprise – Featuring Little Lenny

Hi everyone, it’s the team from Little Burners! We’ve been lucky enough to be part of a truly special project, helping Josh, Toby and Maddie surprise his brother Ryan with something incredible! Little Burners teamed up with The Professional Idiots to give Ryan the gift of van life warmth with Little Lenny.

Ryan has always dreamed of living in a campervan and traveling the world. He’s spent years moving from country to country, chasing adventures, but he moved back home to save some money and spend some time with the family. So, Josh, Toby and Maddie had an amazing idea: they bought a retired ambulance and decided to transform it into Ryan’s very own tiny home on wheels.

They wanted it to be fully off-grid and packed with luxuries—like a full-sized shower, a floating electric bed, a proper kitchen—and of course, a few surprises they knew Ryan would love.

A few weeks before the big reveal, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Josh, Toby and Maddie in person to help install the wood burner, Little Lenny. It was such a fun day! Getting hands-on with the installation and seeing the van starting to come together was a real treat. We could see how much thought and love they were putting into every detail for Ryan.

For five weeks, they worked non-stop on the build. Meanwhile, Ryan was back home with their parents, saving money and reconnecting with family, completely unaware of the transformation happening to what he remembered as just an ambulance.

Finally, the big day arrived. Josh and Maddie drove the fully converted ambulance back to the house for the first time since the transformation. Seeing Ryan’s face when he stepped inside was unforgettable. His eyes lit up, a massive smile spread across his face, and he exclaimed:
“Oh my gosh. This is incredible. Literally stunning.”

And then he saw Little Lenny, the wood burner he’d always wanted. That moment said it all—it was exactly the home-on-wheels he had always dreamed of.

Handing him the keys was an emotional moment for everyone involved. This wasn’t just about a campervan—it was about giving Ryan a place that feels like home, while still letting him chase the adventures he loves.

And the surprises didn’t stop there! Josh, Toby and Maddie revealed that they were all going down to the south of France for the ultimate ski trip in the new van.

Being part of this project, helping with Little Lenny, and seeing Ryan’s reaction was an absolute honor. We’re so proud to have helped bring their vision to life, and we can’t wait to see where Ryan’s adventures take him next!
