Grilling up a storm: Beef Burger Bliss!
Recipe Image

Ingredients:

  • 500g 5% Beef Mince
  • 1 White Onion
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp English Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 Burger buns
  • Your favourite burger toppings

Method:

  1.  In a large mixing bowl, combine and mix all ingredients well!
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick. Make sure the patties are slightly larger than the burger buns as they will shrink when cooked.
  3. Heat a grill pan or barbecue grill over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side. Avoid pressing down on the patties with a spatula, as this can cause them to lose moisture.
  5. Once the patties are cooked through, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Assemble and enjoy!

  Tips for Serving:

     •  Create an Indentation: Press your thumb into the center of each patty before grilling. This prevents the burgers from puffing up in the middle during cooking.

     • Rest Before Serving: Let the burgers rest for a few minutes after grilling to allow the juices to redistribute. This results in juicier burgers.
