🔥 Tools & Materials Needed:

✔ Heat-resistant stove glass (correct size for your burner)

✔ High-temperature rope seal (correct thickness)

✔ Rope adhesive (high-temp silicone or stove rope glue)

✔ Screwdriver (flathead or Phillips, depending on screws)

✔ Allen key (if required for your stove model)

✔ Glass clips or retaining brackets (reuse old or replace if needed)

✔ Heat-resistant gloves (for safety)

✔ Cloth or brush (to clean surfaces)

Step 1: Ensure the Stove is Cool & Safe Make sure the stove is completely cool before starting. Wear heat-resistant gloves to protect your hands.

Step 2: Remove the Stove Door Our stoves allow the door to be easily removed for better access. Check for hinge pins or screws securing the door.

Step 3: Unscrew & Remove the Old Stove Glass Locate the retaining clips or screws holding the glass in place. Carefully loosen and remove them. Gently lift the old glass out and set it aside.

Step 4: Remove the Old Rope Seal Peel away the worn-out rope seal from the door groove. Use a flathead screwdriver or brush to remove any leftover adhesive and debris.

Step 5: Clean the Door & Glass Area Wipe down the door frame with a dry cloth or wire brush to remove ash, soot, and old glue. Make sure the surface is smooth and clean for a proper seal.

Step 6: Install the New Rope Seal Apply a thin, even bead of high-temperature adhesive into the door groove. Gently press the new rope seal into place, ensuring a snug fit. Cut off any excess rope.

Step 7: Install the New Stove Glass Using the ceramic seal provided in our kits, attach this into the frame, pressing firmly. Position the new heat-resistant glass onto the door frame. Secure it using the glass clips (avoid over-tightening to prevent cracking).

Step 8: Reattach the Door & Check the Seal If you removed the door, reattach it securely to the stove. Close the door and check for a firm but flexible seal – there should be no gaps.

Step 9: Let the Adhesive Cure Allow the rope glue to fully cure (usually 12-24 hours).

Step 10: Fire Up & Test the Stove Light a small test fire to check for air leaks. Ensure the seal is tight, and the glass is clear and secure. 🔥

Done! Your stove is now ready to burn efficiently again. 🔥
